1 16 oz. sour cream
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 stick melted butter (or margarine)
5 eggs creamed
Mix cheese, eggs gradually, add sugar, cornstarch, & melted butter. Last add sour cream. Pour into spring form pan and set into a pan of almost boiling, hot water. Bake at 450 for 1 hour. After 1/2 hour if top of cake darkens, cover lightly with aluminum foil.
When cake is cooled, refrigerate. Top with canned blueberries or cherries.
This is great-grandma Claire's recipe. So good.
