Green Bean Amandine

2 oz. Green Bean, fresh
1/2 oz. Sliced Almonds
2 Tablespoons Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste

Remove stem ends only from green beans and blanch in bowling salted water. Shock and dry on paper towel. Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in saute pan. Toast almonds until evenly golden brown. Season almonds with salt and pepper. Set aside. Melt remaining butter; add green beans and saute until just heated through. Add toasted/seasoned almonds and heat through. Adjust seasoning and serve.

You can add garlic to the seasoned almonds. Yum
