Fettuccine Alfredo not from a box! Creamy goodness.
1 package (12 oz.) Ronzoni Fettuccine
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
2/3 cup light cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
Cook pasta as directed on package; drain. Meanwhile, melt butter until hot in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in light cream, Parmesan cheese and egg yolk. Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss to coat well. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
This has to be one of my favorite pasta dishes. Grandpa Al & Grandma Claire first introduced me to homemade fettuccine. I'm glad to say that Steve has carried on the tradition. We have great memories of our homemade pasta days! Pasta everywhere.
